1. WORKSHOP ON EARLY INTERVENTION SESSION WITH DELAYED DEVELOPMENT AND DISABILITY
Early intervention services are those services when the child is slow to reach one or more developmental milestones compared to their peers.
Activities such as using play dough can help develop their fine motor skills. On the playground, child was developed physical skills as well as socio- emotional skills.
Foundation had conducted a training program based on the children who had delayed development and disability. The workshop was held at Mother’s Genius School which is normally a play school with few numbers of delayed development and disability children’s. The training program was on fine motor skills, speech and language programs with the help of special educator. The duration of this workshop was for one-week i.e, from 17th August to 23rd August 2018-2019.
1.TRAINING PROGRAM ON DISABILITY RIGHTS , CHILD RIGHTS AND CHILD PROTECTION
Child rights Programming (CRP) is a priority area for save the children at global, regional and country level. The overall purpose is to achieve greater benefits for children by operating a consistent program based on children rights and key child rights issues.
Children with disability were engaging the following beneficial training program-
- Determine where there are skill gaps.
- Recognize their requirements.
- Creating awareness.
- Allow the people with disabilities to take the lead.
- Access financial support.
A 2 days training cum workshop for special Educators and Montessori’s teachers held at the office of Radha Bala Foundation 9th and 10th July 2019.
