1. VIRTUAL YOGA DAY CELEBRATION

Yoga For Good Health; Yoga For Life!

On the occasion of “International Yoga Day” special virtual yoga sessions was conducted for our students and members to make Yoga to be a part of their daily routine.

The session started with a little warm-up required to attune the body and mind. This online session includes various asanas with proper breathing techniques taught by the Yoga trainer like Vriksha asana, Suraya Namaskara and many more.

1. CELEBRATING WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY

On 5th June 2019, RB Foundation celebrated World Environment Day at Mother’s Genius School. As the school had ample empty space, we decided to undertake a plantation programme. The Children of Toddlers, Nursery, LKG & UKG celebrated the day with a theme.

“Let’s grow a tree to make a better world for our tomorrow.”

2. YOGA DAY CELEBRATION

“Yoga is for the mind and soul”

To mark the importance and significance of Yoga in one’s life, June 21 is observed as international Day of Yoga every year since 2015.

Yoga, which has been practiced for thousands of years, is a holistic solution for physical as well as mental wellness.

On this day, special yoga sessions are being conducted for our students.

3. WOMENS DAY CELEBRATION

International Women’s Day is a global holiday celebrated annually on March 8 to commemorate the cultural, political, and socioeconomic achievements of women. It is also a focal point in the women’s rights movement, bringing attention to issues such as gender equality, reproductive rights, and violence and abuse against women.

On this day women were invited by R B Foundation from various villages Experts were invited to deliberate on the empowerment of women in rural Assam. 150 women from many villages participated in the programme and their mind-set was greatly changed.

Every year we are organizing Women’s Day with the member of our organization in particular areas in a day long activities.

4. SKILL DAY CELEBRATION

However, due to increasing unemployment and inequality in our society, these skilled young individuals are left behind. In addition, our youth are three times more likely to stay unemployed despite possessing developed skills, causing it to become one of the most crucial issues faced by societies across the world.

July 15 is celebrated as World Youth Skills Day, this day is celebrated across the globe to make young people understand the importance of essential skill enhancement that will help them make informed choices regarding employment, work, and entrepreneurship.

On the occasion of ‘World Youth Skills Day’ we are conducting a Makeup Competition for our students.

1. CELEBRATING WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY

World Environment Day is the United Nations day for encouraging worldwide awareness and action to protect our environment.

This day we are celebrated to encourage awareness and environmental protection. On the occasion of 5th June, Radha Bala Foundation celebrated World Environment Day with few Schools at Guwahati. The Children of these schools has celebrated the day with a theme.

“It’s not yours, not mine, it’s ours. So, protect your mother who, nourish you.”

2. YOGA DAY CELEBRATION

“Yoga is the artwork of awareness on the canvas of body, mind and soul.”

Yoga is essentially a spiritual discipline based on an extremely subtle science, which focuses on bringing harmony between mind and body. It is an art and science of healthy living. On June 21, we are celebrated as Annual International Day of Yoga, which is observed as a day of cultural significance in different parts of the world.

On this day, special yoga sessions are being conducted for our students.

3. SKILL DAY CELEBRATION

15 July as World Youth Skills Day, to celebrate the strategic importance of equipping young people with skills for employment, decent work an entrepreneurship. Since then, World Youth Skills Day events have provided a unique opportunity for dialogue between young people, technical and vocational education and training institutions, firms, employers’ and workers’ organizations, policy makers and development partners.

Commemorating the ‘World Youth Skill Day’, the Assam Skill Development Mission (ASDM) is gearing up to observe a week-long programme highlighting series of agenda across various districts of the state from July 15. The objective is to promote skills and practicing of healthy life among the youths. On July 15, the programme will be kicked off at Latasil playground in Guwahati by taking out a walkathon. Training Partner of ASDM we are also participated in this programme.

4. WOMENS DAY CELEBRATION

International Women’s Day is a global holiday celebrated annually on March 8 to commemorate the cultural, political, and socioeconomic achievements of women. Every Year we are celebrated International Women’s Day to create a gender equal-world. It is about celebrating a women’s success and raising awareness against bias. So, we all should choose to ‘challenge’ to bring the change.

It is a day to recognize the extraordinary acts of women and to stand together, as a united force, to advance gender equality around the world.
