As the mission of Radha Bala Foundation itself states that a Self-Reliant life is what it aims to provide to every individual, Radha Bala Foundation has worked on various sectors to fulfill this aim. Training on both Technical and Non-Technical courses like Dyeing, Development programme on Cane and Bamboo, Training of Food & Fruits Processing, Jute Diversified products Design Training, Handloom training programme, and the list is endless. No doubt that by providing such training programmes at various places of entire North Eastern region , many have been capable of earning their own bread and butter but to make a stand in today’s techno – freak world, it is equally important to be technologically sound.
Hence, with this motive, ROMAN COMPUTER AND VOCATIONAL TRAINING CENTER an IT Institute came into existence in the year 2002 as a Training Wing of RADHA BALA FOUNDATION OF EDUCATION RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT SOCIETY by the present Head of the institution and Chief Coordinator – Mrs. Sujala Barman and Miss. Nirmali Kalita. Since then it is working in the area of Skill Development training to educated unemployed youth of this region both in technical and non – technical courses.
Since 2002, ROMAN COMPUTER AND VOCATIONAL TRAINING CENTER has been working as a training wing of RADHA BALA FOUNDATION OF EDUCATION RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT SOCIETY.
RADHA BALA FOUNDATION OF EDUCATION RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT SOCIETY, has been approved as VTP.
Radha Bala Foundation has conducted many Government sponsored Training programmes for SC/ST/Minorities and Women of various Government, Semi Government and Private organizations under the banner of ROMAN COMPUTER AND VOCATIONAL TRAINING CENTER.
Front Office Management for SC women, IT training to SC Women, EDP training on JAVA programming, EDP training on Hardware and Maintenance, etc. are some of the aspects on which ROMAN COMPUTER AND VOCATIONAL TRAINING CENTER (RCVT) under RADHA BALA FOUNDATION has successfully trained individuals and has produced entrepreneurs to the society and helped in providing employment to the individuals.
Realizing the importance for IT education in the rural sector of Assam, RCVT has started two more Training Centers at one of the tribal inhabitant district of Assam, i.e., Dima Hasao and another one under SC Reserved Block – Boko, in rural Kamrup district.
